Hmmmm Maybe my full original question didn't get posted

I have Turbo Tax 2020 return files from a person who did my taxes for me last year.  I am trying to find out if I can upload that file in my instance of Turbo Tax while I do my own taxes this year?  This way I can reference how my return was done last year and compare

Yes you can import a PDF into TurboTax

In certain situations, the program might not accept a PDF, such as when it’s password-protected, a scan of a hard copy rather than an electronic PDF, and certain other cases. If this happens, don’t worry, we’ll guide you through typing in your info.

Instructions:

1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
2. From the File menu, select New Tax Return.
3. Select Begin.
4. Under Let's Get a Jumpstart on Your 2021 Taxes, select Use a tax return that's on my computer.
5. Select your PDF file, then Continue to start the transfer.
6. Save your new tax file to make sure you don't lose any info and continue to follow the on-screen instructions.
