I had insurance with my parents until July of 2016 and then got insured by my employer. I don't have a 1095A from my employer for 2016. Does that come are a later time?

You wouldn't have a 1095-A for employer insurance. 1095-As are only for certain Marketplace plans.

Did your parents cover you under one of their jobs? If so:

• Indicate that you had health insurance all year
• Say No to the uncommon plan question
• That's it.

Did your parents cover you under a Marketplace/ 1095-A plan? If so:

• Indicate that you had health insurance all year
• Say Yes to the uncommon plan question
• Enter the 1095-A and allocate the policy accordingly

You don't type in forms when the coverage is not a Marketplace plan.

I have imported the pdf of the 1095-A form and it has auto populated monthly dollar amounts that I did not pay. My parents paid these amounts. How do I specify that?

Or do I leave everything as it was imported?

After you enter the 1095-A, press continue and it addresses sharing the policy and allocation.
