I had energy efficient windows + sliding door installed by Window World during November 2025, enter with a QMID S9A4 and just the material amount (rejects). Suggestions?

Entered a QMID of S9A4 and just the material amount. TurboTax states that I do not qualify for energy efficient tax credits.

Was this installation on your main home? The credit only applies to your residence and if you use your home for business you may not qualify as well. Your credit is also maxed out at $1200 annually. Do you have any other credits for this year?

Form 5695 also is not completely ready for the desktop version. If you are using the desktop version you may want to try to re-enter the information tomorrow (1/29/26).

Yes, I just moved into a new residence and replaced 4 windows and a sliding door (with energy efficient glass). I am using the desktop version so maybe this is why I am getting an error. Thank you for your suggestion.
