I had a baby in 2021. I did not get a third stimulus check for her. There is not credit coming up for her when I am filing with turbo tax.

We got $2,800 and it says that is all we are eligible for. I know we are eligible for $1,400 for her as a dependent. I am not sure why it isn't coming up.

Go back to the My Info section of the program and review what you entered for the child.  Make sure you indicated that the child lived with you for the whole year and lived in the US for the whole year.  Check that you indicated the child did NOT provide over one-half of her own support.  Verify that you indicated NO for a relative in the home who helped support the child.

When you entered her Social Security number make sure you did NOT check the box not valid for employment.

Did you indicate in the personal section that the baby lived with you the full year?   Even if the baby was born in Dec of 2021, you still want to make sure you enter full year (12 months) on the ''Time lived with you'' question.    Go back through all of the dependent questions to ensure the baby is showing as your dependent on your 2021 tax return.    Make sure you have their social security number entered and that the box about about their SSN being not valid for employment is unchecked.   

Also, did you have any dependents on your return last year that dropped off this year?
