I got the basic info in and it has a message in red that says your ssn has been marked ineligible for work. How do I find out why or who? How do I check if its removed?

My W-2 isn't in yet, maybe it will go away when it comes in? Currently on a year long unpaid leave from Starbucks (a benefit to keep healthcare while taking a break from work, working another job isnt allowed during this time).

Look at your Social Security card----does it say on the card that it is not valid for employment?

You need to click your name in MY INFO and go back through the questions to the one about your SS card and answer the question correctly.

But....if you have been "unpaid" all year....what income are you trying to enter on a 2025 tax return?
