I got married December 1, can i put single or what is the best option? if i put single can it cause problems in the future

As you are married on the last day of 2018, you cannot file Single. Your only options are Married filing Jointly or Married filing Separately.

In almost all situations, it is more beneficial to file Married Filing Jointly than Married Filing Separately.
