I got another w2 form for work that I did for only two months or so, can I file those separately?

No, all of your income must be filed on the same tax return. 

If you have already submitted your tax return for 2017, you will add the information from the additional W-2 by filing an amended return

Instructions for amending a 2017 return will be available in early February.  If you keep checking the information below, the link to the instructions will become active when they are available.
