I got an e-mail on 1/23 /2026 that "The wait is over! The tax forms we needed to finish up your taxes are ready. Form 5695" but it is not. Anyone else looking for this?

Two days later: If they hadn't sent this e-mail, I'd be happy waiting. Now I feel misled and will be waiting unhappily. 😉

Please continue to check back as many sections are being updated.

TurboTax Online updates for new tax laws and other features, but they are done automatically in your web browser. You do not have to manually update like in TurboTax desktop software.  

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can manually check for updates for  your TurboTax program by clicking on "Online" in the black bar near the top of your screen and selecting "Check for Updates."

Form 5695 is now AVAILABLE as of Thursday, January 29, 2026, or in other words, 4 days late!

I updated TT on 1/28/26 and Form 5695 was AVAILABLE.  I filled out the form and transmitted my tax return on 1/30/26.  A few hours later I received notice that it was rejected.   When I checked status on TT the message  was in code-speak ( literally using Excel code like language).    Then a paragraph saying it would be Feb 13 before updates were complete.
