I got all the way down to file and I keep getting the check over and over and it will not go any further

Try to save your progress. Log out and refresh and log back in. Once you get to that part, go back and review to double check that everything is for sure entered correctly. You might have missed entering in something. I had the same problem and all it was was enetering in the name of something I was expensing. Hope this helps!
