I fixed the error on my federal and state taxes. My federal was accepted, but my state is still showing as pending. Why is this?

Once the fed is accepted the state return is sent to the state "holding pool" ... how long they will take to "drain" that pool and post an acceptance is TBD ... nothing you can do but wait for the notification.
