I finished state however there is a message stating that they are working on updates due to law changes. What changes?

All of the states and the IRS are continually making updates to their software and computer processes at this time of year.

What state are you working with?  State forms availability here may help you figure out what form or forms in your tax return is not yet fully available.

Click on Review on the left side of the online program screen.  There should be a list of forms for the state that show as not being finalized and the date they will be available to file.
