I finished my taxes was to be free now saying I owe out of my federal don't know how much assuming the $29.99. why is that?

You can review your fees and see what you are being charged for in TurboTax Online by following the directions below:

Log into your TurboTax Online account and select Take Me To My Return
Select Tax Tool
Select Tools
A Tools Center box will pop up on your screen with four blue boxes.
Select the My Fees box
