If I'm understanding your situation, TurboTax does not get feedback from the IRS about your IRS account balance after you pay any taxes due.

 

If your return showed you owed $1626 at the time of filing, and if you paid it, then TurboTax does not update the Tax Home with your payment.   It merely shows the status of your Form 1040 as it existed when it was prepared.  If the return said you owed $1626 and so does the Tax Home, then it will always say that.  

 

If you have an online IRS account, in a few days you can check the actual balance of your IRS account to see if your payment shows up there.   That will depend on how long it takes the IRS to actually perform the debit.

I'll throw this in, just in case:

Also be sure you are not looking at a summary figure TurboTax sometimes shows that includes both the Federal and State final results netted together into a single figure   That sometimes causes confusion.
