I filled my tax return but my past employer sent me a W2 with out me knowing

Can I add that to it or it's done

Is this a W2 for 2016? If it is, since you already filed your return you cannot add your W2 to your return.  You will have to wait until your return gets accepted or rejected.

If accepted, you will have to amend your return to add your W2. Amended returns must be mailed.

If rejected, you can add your W2 and then re-e-file your return.

If the W2 is for a prior year, you will have to amend your return for that year to add the W2.
