I fill out business income from my 1099 MISC form but when I go to personal income it makes me fill it out again doubling my claimed income.

I chose Turbo tax self-Employed because of my side business. My main job is a teacher.

Essentially the 1099 shouldn't  count twice, it just displays in Personal after you've entered it in Business,
If you go to the end to the "Final Review" and check .Your income should come out right.
