I filed single,should i have filed head of household?

My son is 25 and lives with me,he has a full time job,but I pay all the bills.My question is was I eligible to file head of household?

If you are not claiming your son as your dependent-- and it sounds like you cannot--then you cannot file as head of household. File Single.
