I filed my wife's and I taxes this year. I found out t she has overdue college debt and they offset our refund. I am wondering if I am accountable for this debt?

I filed my wife's and I taxes this year. I found out t she has overdue college debt and they offset our refund. I am wondering if I am accountable for this debt?

Check into filing as an injured spouse (it is listed under other tax forms on Turbotax). I have to do that every year.
