My tax preparer had filed my taxes as head of household for the years of 2015 and 2016. I had to make an amendment on both of them. So I had to refiled them and put married jointly, for my status. I want to know what kind of outcome it's going to be, once the irs gets it. Am in going to be fined?

Single is not the same as Head of Household, nor the same as Married Filing Separately.
That being said, Married Filing Joint can go either way, depending upon how much income your spouse had. Did your amended returns end up with you owing taxes? If so, you can be assessed interest and possibly penalties. Did you use TT to amend?
But, as indicated above, someone with your screen name asked about student loans,. so please clarify.
And TT is not licensed for use by paid tax preparers, so your preparer was in violation if she used TT.
Basically if you were getting more refunds on the amended returns then there is nothing bad coming your way. However, if you owed taxes then the IRS will probably bill you for a penalty & a bit of interest so expect the bill.
