I filed my 2021 tax return February 2022. It was accepted and I received my refund but now it said it was rejected.

I received my 2021 refund in my bank account 3 weeks after I filed in 2022. I went to do my taxes for 2022 and it says my 2021 return was rejected.

if you received the refund you asked for on Form 1040, your tax return was approved.

Thank you. I guess I'm just confused because when I went to file my taxes this year it said that it was rejected for last year.

Is it possible that you went back into the return last year after you had filed and accidentally efiled again ?   If so the duplicate filing would have been rejected thus the current message.   If you did file successfully then you should just ignore the current status.
