I filed my 2016 taxes with my now ex-husband. The amount on line 37 on our 1040 isn't being accepted as my AGI number on my taxes this year. Why?

If you are having trouble, we suggest that you check with the IRS to make sure that the copy of your return is the same as what they have in their records. To do this, you can order a tax return transcript. Sometimes the information the IRS is different than what you are submitting because the IRS made changes to your prior tax return. If nothing works, you can still file a paper copy of your tax return.
