I filed my 1040-SR electronically and was accepted both federal and NY. Printed copy, mistakes were found. How to change file to 1040-X and resend electronically?

This was a desktop version of Turbo-Tax 2023. There are no options to file an amended 1040-x return in any of the menu's.

To amend the 2023 tax return using the TurboTax desktop editions for 2023 -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)

Click on Other Tax Situations

Under Other Tax Forms

On Amend a return, click on the start button

The responded answer was very correct and i would not have found it otherwise.  I was in a panic when i first started out but gained confidence when going through the TurboTax steps.  I was successfully able to submit my amended return electronically and am very happy, so far.  I'll be waiting for my check from the IRS.  I'll definitely use TurboTax next year, but will print out my return and do a final once over look at it before submitting it.   Haste makes waste, look over the actual forms that will be submitted to the IRS, not the individual lines within TurboTax as they look different.
