With the online version, one account, one return. If you create a 2nd return on the same account, then you overwrite/delete the first return and there is no way to recover it. It's just gone.

You can create up to 5 accounts per e-mail address. To do that, log out of the account you're using "right now", and click the "create account" link below the password field.
