I filed HOH but was rejected because Son claimed he paid 1/2 living exp but didn't. His is amended&will mail but mine still getting reject. When will irs accept mine?

Your return can only be e-filed after his amended return has been processed by the IRS.  Figure 8 to 16 weeks.  You can either mail your tax return or get an extension to efile after April 15th.

The IRS changed that policy a year (or two) ago due to tax fraud.   Now, once a SSN has been e-filed the IRS will not allow another e-file with the same SSN anytime in the same tax year amended return or not.
