No.  If your debt was discharged in a Title 11 bankruptcy proceeding, such as a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 case, you're not responsible for taxes on that debt.  To read more about this please see Turbo Tax How To Use Tax Form 1099 C for Cancellation of Debt.  You can also input the information in Turbo Tax and you will be directed to whether or not it is required or not.  To do so, please use the instructions below;
