I filed a claim for disability when I went on maturity leave in Oct. of 2018 but I didn't receive the money until Feb 2019 do I still claim it for 2018 or 2019???

If you only received your benefits in February 2019, you do not report them on your 2018 tax return, but on your 2019 tax return (next year's return).
