I erroneously filed return with "yes" marked for receiving form 1095-A. Now IRS has requested form 8962. How do I respond to IRS?

If you went through the 1095-A interview then the 8962 should have been part of your tax return.

Sounds like you did not go through the interview.

Thanks for the response. I did see how to print form 8962. However, my return did not create one. Can you create this form after you have submitted? It appears TurboTax will not let me.

My question is, do I send I letter back to the IRS stating I marked I received a form 1095-A in error. My response should have been "no" and therefore I do not need to submit a form 8962?

See the help link in my post that gives instructions.
