I entered the same 1099-MISC twice (trying to get back to where I could add expenses and upgrade to the business version) and now this ridiculous software is doubling it.

I exited the system and when I came back in it did not pick up where I had left off (where I could enter expenses for my self-employment). So I put the data back in again from the 1099-MISC and now it's doubling the income and "Edit" doesn't allow me to edit the income...just keeps asking me if I want to enter a 1099-MISC.  Pretty silly way to write software, if you ask me.

If you need to delete a 1099-MISC, follow these steps:

• Sign into https://myturbotax.intuit.com/   and click "Take me to my return"
• Select "My Account" then select "Tools" from dropdown menu
• Under the Tools Center, select "Delete a Form"
• On the next page, locate the form and select "Delete" next to the form

NOTE:  You may need to delete all information related to this form in TurboTax system before the form will delete. So you may need to go back under the section, if any information or amounts are entered, and delete all these entries first.
