I enter info in line 1a of 1099-div but in review, Turbo keeps asking me to enter it???

I enter info in line 1a, 1b, and 2a of 1099-div 'normally', but in review, Turbo keeps asking me to enter info for line 1a.

That sounds like you have an extra empty,  or <untitled> 1099-DIV form in your 1099-DIV table.

1)  Go back to the Federal section, go in to edit you 1099-DIV forms and see if there is an extra empty form in there..then hit the trashcan next to it to get rid of it.

2)  go to the left-side menu..click on "Tax Tools" then "Tools", then select "Delete a Form"..look thru the list of forms and delete any extra 1099-DIV that doesn't belong.

Still a Problem?


3) same as in #2, but delete the Schedule B.  But when you go that far, that will delete every 1099-INT, -DIV, and -OID, and you will have to re-enter all of them back in the main program (may have to reenter the boxes on any K-1 form you have too).  This last Option is the most severe..but is sometimes required for a few spurious 1099-INT, -DIV, or -OID forms that do not belong
