i efiled an amended return to add that someone can claim me as a dependent. the federal return was rejected and there is no explanation on turbotax.

Was your original return efiled and accepted? Is the other person's return rejecting or did their's go though?

Was the original return rejected or was it the amended return?
Did you check the IRS website Where's My Refund to determine the rejection code?
