I earned 30k, TTax is telling me I need to upgrade b/c of Sched 3, Nonrefund credit. The credit is < than fee. how do I remove the credit? bait and switch!

I advise you to use Free File Edition. There are no upgrade costs, compared to normal Free Edition.

To you qualify

Make less than $34,000 a year or

Qualify for the Earned Income Credit or

Active military making less than $66,000
