Check the amounts you entered from your W-2 and look for errors made with extra zeros or misplace decimals. You have entered something incorrectly and you need to find your mistake. Look at lines 16 and 17 on your W-2 and see what you entered.

Go back to where you entered the state income and state taxes withheld, W-2 or Form 1099. There probably is a misplaced decimal point or a comma was entered. Do not enter a comma when entering a number, only decimal points are allowed.
