I e-filed and chose the direct debit to pay option, but monies have not left my account, does this mean it was rejected? as I chose the date 4/16/18

I selected 4/16/18 as the direct debit date, no monies have left the account yet. It is now 4/20/18. Will I be charged a late fee. My e-file status says 'accepted" and is green check.
