I downloaded my .tax files and for some reason when I open it, it opens a game called Plague Inc. How can I change this and view my taxes? Thank you

Even when the game is closed or deleted, it opens the file from where it previously was, like it's its own file.

What year?  The tax files actually end in .tax2020, .tax2019 etc.  If you downloaded the .tax file from online you need that year Turbo Tax program installed to open it.  Do you have the program installed?  Or you need to download the pdf file just to view your return.

Your computer has associated taxfiles with Plague.  You need to download and install the appropriate tax year and then change your computer settings to use TurboTax to open the taxfiles.
