I dont have a 1040 tax form why this year am i not able to e file there were no questions asked about a 1040?

EVERYONE who is filing a tax return is filing it on a Form 1040. Since the new tax laws were passed, there are no more Form 1040EZ's or 1040A's. Everyone now files a "postcard size" Form 1040 that has six possible schedules that go with it. If you are having trouble e-filing please tell us the rejection code or rejection message you are getting.

It's probably there. It looks different this year. The new 1040 is 2 half pages but now print on 1 sheet with the Signature line in the Middle.
