The IRS issues a new IP PIN each January to be used for all returns filed that tax year ... you cannot use a 2021 IP PIN issued January of 2021 for any returns filed in 2022.
You should have gotten a letter back in January with your IP PIN to be used for any tax returns that you file in 2022. If you don't have the letter, you can try to retrieve your Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN) by following the instructions at the following link on the IRS web site.
Retrieve Your Identity Protection PIN (IP PIN)
If you are unable to retrieve your IP PIN you will not be able to e-file. You can print your tax return, sign it, and file it by mail without the IP PIN. If you do that, you should it expect it to take many months for the IRS to process the mailed tax return.
