I don’t owe or have a refund this year, turbo tax says I must then mail my tax return instead of electronically mailing. the only thing I can mail is a2 page print out?

The pdf they gave me is a list of instructions for mailing my tax return, is this 2 page pdf my actual tax return? All it has is a small box for the summary of my turbo tax completion. It hardly looks like anything I should be mailing them.
I could be wrong and I should mail this form, it just doesn’t appear to be the actual tax return form

It makes perfect sense, but you are not required to file a tax return.  In fact, the IRS will not accept a return with all zeros.  See the article below that explains this.  https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302274

Doesn't sound like a tax return.  Did you have income? Or why did you complete a tax return?

I did not have any income for 2017, so no w2 to report, no income to report. I was under the impression that regardless if I didn’t owe or wasn’t going to collect a refund, I still need to send in a tax return. All turbo tax has issued me was a pdf download of 2 pages with instructions of where to send my tax refund to. It says also that my tax refund should download and print along with the 2 page instructions but nothing appears, only a summary of my tax’s I filled out through turbo tax, which is on the 2 page pdf, also with which doesn’t look like anything you would send the irs.
I appreciate your help greatly, I completed it because I thought that’s what everyone is supposed to do, but I have nothing to report. When I tried to send in my finished turbo tax report, it says something like “there is not enough to electronically send to the irs, please print and physically mail”.
I hope this makes sense, if not I can try to get you better information. Thank you again!
