I don't need Expert Assist But Turbo Tax won't let me downgrade. Should I go to H&R Block?

Your DoorDash income is self-employment income ---and you need online Premium in order to enter your business expenses on a Schedule C.   You can downgrade to do-it-yourself Premium instead of expert assist Premium.

I tried downgrading but it would not let me continue. At this point I believe they are just trying to overcharge people. I don't have any investments, only simple income. I feel I will be much better off going somewhere else at this point.

If you have income from Door Dash, you need online Premium----that has nothing to do with having investments.   You have self-employment income for which you must pay self-employment tax and need to prepare a Schedule C.   That requires the use of online Premium software.   But...you are free to prepare your return anywhere you want to.
