I don’t know my ex-husbands ssn. What do I do?

If you need the Social Security number for something like reporting alimony that you paid to your ex-spouse, then they are required to provide that number to you.  If you cannot obtain and it is being required for your tax return, then your only option is to mail your return along with an explanation detailing why you do not have the number.
