I don't have my income totals separated in cash or check. Can I just use a total of both or do I need to figure out a way to separate these?

I own a Salon and am a stylist.

I have the total income I've made this year and have a 1099k, but do not have a way to separate cash payments versus checks. Can I lump the cash/check income together, or do I need to find a way to separate the two before entering my totals.

Yes, you can enter as a total as long as you keep the records of the receipts.  If the 1099-K (credit card) income is included with cash, as long as the total income is reported you do not have to separately account it.
