I don't have a second w2 from husbands employer. Turbo Tax insists I do and it won't let me continue

I would suggest you to remove the second W-2 from the program. 

To delete the form in the TurboTax Deluxe online version, here are the steps:

1.Sign into your account, select Take me to my return

2.Select My Account (top of screen)click on the drop down arrow

3.Select Tools

4.Under Other helpful links, choose Delete a form

5.Select Delete next to the Form W-2 and Continue with My Return
