I do not want the 2016 refund applied to estimated taxes, please correct this.

Click on the Federal Taxes tab go to Other Tax Situations, scroll down to the bottom and click update/start next to Form W-4 and estimated Taxes. Continue through until you get to a screen that says Apply to Estimated Taxes and answer no to the question "Do you want t apply an amount to your 2017 taxes?".

Alternatively,

  1. Click on "My Account
  2. click on "Tools"
  3. click on "Delete a Form"
  4. A list of all forms currently being used for your return will appear. Scroll down the list and locate Estimated Taxes and Form W-4 Worksheet
  5. Click delete directly next to the form. Confirm that you want the form deleted
