I do not see option ts o add dependent on my taxes this year. I can claim her every other year. jWhere do I add dependent?

Dependents are added in MY INFO

You can add a dependent in TurboTax using the steps listed below.

If you are using TurboTax Online:

1. Click on "My Info" in the left panel of your TurboTax screen
2. Follow through the screens and answer any questions as they pertain to you
3. When you see the screen that says "About Your Household" you will see the question "Do you have any dependents?", Answer "Yes"
4. It will then ask you "How many dependents do you have?"
5. Select the proper number and then continue on through the screens and answer all follow-up questions about your dependent(s)

If you are using TurboTax Desktop:

1. Click on the tab "Personal Info"
2. Follow through the screens until you see the screen "Do you have children or financially support another person?" if you are just starting your return
3. or if you already started your return, click on the "Personal Info" tab
4. Look down through the screen you will see "Dependents"
5. Select "Edit" next to Dependents
6. It will take you to the screen that asks, "Do you have children or financially support another person?"
7. Select "Yes"
8. Continue through the screens and answer the follow-up questions regarding your dependent.
