I do not live in the US. Why does turbotax insist I file a state return? I have asked this question before and still I have no answers from intuit. I let this go long enough. If you can't fix your system, kindly give me a refund of my payment. I am still being nice at this point. Please don't force me to tell you what I really think.

Do you still have a driver's license or voter registration in one of the US states? Own any property there?

To file taxes you have to have earned income from somewhere which is going to drive you to answer what state the earned income was from.

This is why intuit should have a dedicated staff to answer questions. Thanks for taking the time, but your answer is not valid for me.
