Verifying your identity is between you and the IRS---TurboTax is not part of that process. Do you still have the letter you received about verifying your identity? Read it very carefully and comply with what it told you to do.

unfortunately, if the IRS is requiring you to appear in person with a valid ID at one of their offices to prove you are who you say you are, there is no other option. Period.
