Am I entitled to any kind of refund if I didn't work this year

It depends. While refund for majority of the part derives from the taxes you have paid throughout the year, there are some credits which you may be eligible for.
For example, if you have Children and meet the eligibility criteria you can get the Child Tax Credit even if your tax is $0. Additionally, if you have not received already, you may be eligible for the third economic impact payment (stimulus) when you file your return.
You say you did not work. But did you receive any income with tax withheld? Did you receive unemployment compensation? If so you can enter your 1099G to seek a refund of tax withheld. Or did you receive any other income at all to enter on a tax return? Did you receive Social Security or any retirement income? Or is someone else claiming you as a dependent since you had no income?
