Working independently (on your own) without an employer is considered self employment income and must be reported on Schedule C. It is considered a business. The words you write here are unclear, 'I don't claim my homes because they don't claim me'. If you mean you don't receive any income document for your tax return, it is not needed. You report all income your received for your work.
