I didn't realize my returns were rejected until now.They were submitted on time.I am reviewing year end items and discovered this. Can they we resubmitted electronically?

A 2016 tax return can no longer be e-filed, they must be printed and mailed.  Download the PDF of the return and print, sign, date the return for mailing.

To access your prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Go to this IRS website for the address for mailing a federal tax return, with or without a payment, click on your state - https://www.irs.gov/filing/where-to-file-paper-tax-returns-with-or-without-a-payment
