I didn’t e- file my taxes cause I didn’t have my 2017 AGI so I mailed them in but I got an email saying I haven’t filed my taxes yet

Do not worry about the email. The software has no way to know that ypu put your tax return in an envelope and took it to a mailbox. Ypu can track your refund on the irs.gov site.
