Not sure what you mean by "I did standard deduction most of the year"---that is not what standard deduction means in "tax return lingo." We do not know how much tax you mean you had withheld from your paychecks. We cannot say how much your refund will be or if you will think it is "decent." That is a relative term.
When you get your W-2(s) enter them and enter your dependents into the software and see how it turns out. Do NOT try to use a paystub to file a tax return. Your employer has until February 1 to issue your W-2--wait for the W-2 that has all of your income information.
Explain Standard Deduction—What is it?

There are a lot of variables that go into calculating your tax liability. You will have to wait until you complete your tax return.
They have not been taking out any federal income tax withholding? Then you might end up owing on your tax return. If you have a low income you might not owe anything. But to get a refund you have to pay in more withholding than the tax due on your income. Although there are a couple credits you can get refunded even if you have not paid in.
And you don't take the Standard Deduction on your paychecks. That is only on your tax return. The Standard Deduction is subtracted off all your income to give you the Taxable Income.
Federal tax deduction amounts were not reflected on my paystub.
If this is a true statement, you need to ask your employer for a corrected W-2 after it arrives and it also does not show deduction amounts.
Or, if no deductions happened, you'll have to make up that money on Tax Day.
If they did not take any taxes out of your pay you might not be an employee but an independent contractor and get a 1099Misc or 1099NEC instead of a W2. If that is the case you file it as self employment income and will need to pay self employment tax on it. Better ask your employer if you will be getting a W2 or 1099 in January.
What I mean is on the W4 form I chose Standard Deduction for Head of Household plus two dependents. When l look at my paystub there isn't an amount shown for Federal. It's blank. When I am used to seeing an amount. So I hope I don't owe anything. This year w4 was so confusing. That is what I meant
Th new W-4 is set up so you have the least amount of income tax withheld so you don't owe. If you get a refund it probably will be from refundable credits if your income is under $54,000.
