I became a US resident in 2021. Due to the pandemic, I did not receive my social security number until recently(in 2022). In the year 2021, I had income from rental property. Can I still file tax with the social security number I just received? or do I need to apply for a ITIN? And if I can file with my social security number, can I take the standard deduction, and also will I benefit from credits such as child credit.

Yes, you can file your 2021 tax return with your Social Security number.
You can take the standard deduction and claim eligible credits if you meet
either the green card test or the substantial presence test for the calendar year 2021
that's very helpful, thank you very much.
